Festival of Children mountains In the middle of summer, the city of Nowy Sacz and Małopolska get out more than five hundred kids, teams representing different countries. One week the city becomes the capital of smiles and fun. Feast begins with a solemn march through the streets of major cities. Colourfulness enormous, and the joy of kids roz¶piewanych attracts a very large group of spectators. March ended the inaugural concert of all the teams arrived, culminating in a huge firework display. Throughout the week, kids concerts in Nowy Sacz, but also in other cities such as Krakow, Krynica, Piwniczna, Muszyna and many others. The festival ends with a great final concert. "Day of Children of the Mountains" is a very unique formula. Children are associated in the so-called pair kamrackie. During the week, couples are together, play a visit, so you get to know each other's culture, learn tolerance, often to befriend and correspond with each other even when the duration of the festival is already over.
The organizer of the annual festival is Malopolskie Sokol Cultural Center. So far in sixteen editions of fifty teams took part in cross-border giving three and a half thousandth of a group of young artists.
